NIGERIA’S ZURIEL ODUWOLE LISTED AMONG TOP 15 EMERGING BLACK WOMEN IN HOLLYWOOD
15-year-old Nigerian girl, Zuriel Oduwole is listed among one of 15 emerging black women in Hollywood.
Zuriel Oduwole in one of the top 15 influencers who were profiled in a new feature in LA Magazine.
The powerful black women that have been profiled are directors, movie funding gatekeepers, producers, program executives and writers from big-name players such as Paramount Pictures, BET Networks, Extra!, AEG, City National Bank and Revolt.
Zuriel is an education advocate and filmmaker best known for her works on the advocacy for the education of girls in Africa. Her advocacy has since made her the youngest person to be profiled by Forbes.
In November 2014, at the age of 12, Zuriel became the world’s youngest filmmaker to have a self-produced and self-edited work after her film showed in two movie chains.
