SERENA WILLIAMS IS CURIOUS TO KNOW WHY SHE’S DRUG-TESTED MORE

Serena Williams, a seven-time Wimbledon champion said she never knew she was being tested much more than anyone else.

The star athlete took questions from media during a press conference on Sunday to discuss her upcoming match against the Netherlands’ Arantxa Rus at the Wimbledon tournament in London.

Serena responded, saying, “Just test everyone equally.”

One reporter asked her to comment on a recent Deadspin article that revealed Williams is tested for doping much more often than other male or female players

While she’s okay with being tested, she said she’ll like to see a more equal testing system, rather than just one person being centred on.
