Now that we’re back from the holidays, we can stop holding our breath and let you in some more stuff. Like, our new issue featuring Idia Aisien.

Idia Aisien graces our double cover on the helm of her newly released first feature in a movie – “Nneka the Pretty Serpent“. Although this was her first movie role, Idia met familiar push-backs. The same ones that have, in one way or the other, laced her career path. From naysayers saying she’s too dark to play the typically light-skinned lead character, to those who attribute her success to being born with a silver spoon, Idia is challenging every box she’s been put in to find her own path.

As we say goodbye to International Women’s Month, we recognize that women have been making strides and continue to so do. Brands like Emerging Africa Asset Management Ltd, Stanbic IBTC, FSDH Asset Management Limited, and NSIA Insurance Limited took this month to challenge women to make the changes they want in their finances.
