ANTHONY BOURDAIN HAS DIED AT 61

According to CNN, Anthony Bourdain, a gifted storyteller, and writer who took CNN viewers around the world was found unresponsive in his hotel room.
Anthony Bourdain was in France working on an upcoming episode of his award-winning CNN series “Parts Unknown.” His close friend Eric Ripert, the French chef, found Bourdain unresponsive in his hotel room Friday morning.
Bourdain was best known for his travel shows, where he told the stories of people and cultures from around the world through the food they ate. “Parts Unknown” was the latest in that series. Since premiering in 2013, the program has won 5 Emmy awards and a Peabody.
According to the network, the cause of death was suicide.
