HOW TO GET RID OF FLABBY ARMS
You know that extra skin under your arm also known as ‘Christian mother’ or ‘hallelujah arms’? You can get rid of them and here’s how.
Flabby arms look as bad as a wiggly fat tummy. They make you look older, unfit and on top of that sleeveless clothes are just out of the question.
To say the truth, wiggly arms can ruin your entire look even if you have a perfect figure. It can create a negative body image and most importantly your confidence.
All said and done, how do you get rid of wiggly arms? And more importantly what causes them. Most of the time, there are two major causes of flabby arms. It’s either you don’t have enough muscle tone in your arm or you have a huge amount of fat in your arm.
99.9 percent of the time these are the main reasons why women most especially have wiggly arms. This is also a huge problem for people who are “fat skinny” who might appear to be thin but they are lacking serious muscle tone. This is a major reason why a woman who looks slim can have a flabby unattractive body.
That’s why we are going to share with you three perfect exercises to get rid of flabby arms to tone up your wiggly arms.
TRICEP DIPS
If you are working out at home, place your arms on a chair or bench and elevate your feet by putting a stool under them.
DIRECTIONS
- Start by placing your arms on a chair or bench and elevate your feet by putting a stool under them.
- Slowly lower yourself and keep your body upright and your elbows tucked close to your sides.
- Concentrate on lowering your body only with the triceps. Ensure that your elbows are at a 90-degree angle. It is important to note that if your elbows are positioned wrongly it would cause your arm to become sore.
- After this, push your body back by using only your triceps. Repeat this process
PUSH-UPS
Pushups are mostly chest exercises, but they also work the triceps as a secondary muscle. They are one of the best and most common measures of strength.
DIRECTION
- Place your hands with your palms facing downward on the floor, shoulder- width apart, with a slight bend in your arms. Keep your feet together and support your weight with your hands and toes.
- Lower yourself until your chest is very close to the floor. Inhale as you do this so as to prevent suffocation.
- Exhale and push your body back to the first position
- Find your balance at the top and repeat the process.
ARM STRETCHES
As easy as arm stretches sound, the work perfectly to help you tone up wiggly arms. When you interlock your hands, your triceps are engaged. Pulling the hands to the opposite sides creates a further stretch in your triceps, in so doing toning them.
DIRECTIONS
- Raise your hands above your head
- Hold your right wrist with your left hand and your left wrist with your right hand, thereby interlocking your hands.
- Now, with your right hand, pull your left hand towards your right such that your left elbow falls behind your head.
- Release the tension and take your arms back to the center without releasing your wrists.
- With your left hand, pull your right hand towards the left such that your right elbow falls behind your head.
- Release the pull and take your hands to the center. Repeat this for at least two sets of 20 repetitions each.
