5 New Cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria Surface
The total number of cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria is now at 8 with the emergence of 5 new cases in Lagos. These 5 cases were tested on Wednesday and were diagnosed as positive for the pandemic disease.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), all 5 cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria have travel history to the United Kingdom and the United States.
The NCDC shared:
A detailed travel history of each case is being compiled & contact tracing has begun. Our National Emergency Operations Centre is supporting response in the states. The Federal Government through @Fmohnigeria is conducting risk assessment to initiate other relevant measures.
