Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 overripe bananas
- ½ cup oil
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ¼ cup chocolate chips, divided.
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to a 350F. Spray a 7×5 inch non-stick loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a wooden ladle. Add the following liquid ingredients: oil, eggs, and vanilla and stir until combined.
- Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt and mix until it’s combined.
- Add 1 cup of chocolate chips to the mixture and stir until evenly distributed
- Transfer the batter into a loaf pan. Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of chocolate chips on top.
- Put the pan in the oven for 40 minutes. Be sure to check on it at 20 minutes interval.
