Today’s beauty tip will be on “Hair and oil.” After establishing the various types of hairs, we will be discussing the perfect match of oil with the diverse hair types

Hair oils are the favorite of beauty experts everywhere and for good reasons

  • They are full of essential fatty acids
  • They provide lubrication
  • They are great for healing split ends and detangling.

FOR DRY HAIR: ARGAN OIL.
As the weather cools down, dry hair can become a huge hassle. Argan oil is the perfect antidote to this, as it revitalizes your hair and corrects split ends

FOR DRY OR OILY SCALP: TEA TREE OIL.
You need a different oil for dry and oily scalp, Tea tree oil’s antifungal and antibacterial properties means it is not only great for getting rid of excess oils, but also for getting rid of organisms that can cause dandruff .
It unclogs hair follicles by removing dead skin cells and promotes hair growth

FOR COLOR TREATED HAIR: MARULA OIL.
If you tint your hair a lot, you probably know already that water is your natural enemy.
Marula oil is lean but not too stripe, its makeup is very close to the natural oil your body produces. It is rich in vitamin C and E and it is fast absorbing.

FOR THICK OR CURLY HAIR: BABASSU OIL.
When you are working with thicker and fuller hair, your choice will likely be heavy duty oils to define your hair or curls and prevent the hair from becoming frizzy.

NB*Shea and coconut oils are good options*.

FOR THIN HAIR: AVOCADO OIL
If your hair is on a thinner side, your best bet is to try out light oil that will promote cell growth and shine but won’t weigh down your strands.
*NB: you can apply each of these oils to wet or dry hair when styling or use as a deep conditioning treatment.*
