TECH FEATURE: SKRIFE

Skrife is a budding community of professionals which offers users a platform that connects entrepreneurs, brands, digital agencies, and startups to quality content writers and editors. It doesn’t stop there, it also gives free-lance writers a platform to have access to paid gigs around the world from the comfort of their homes.

This startup was founded in December 2015 by two female freelance writers who met at Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST). During their time there, they discovered there was a large number of entrepreneurs who needed quality content but lacked the skills to write, and there was a bridge in the market between freelance writers and these entrepreneurs. Kelechi Udoagwu and Toluene Agunbiade thought of a solution and decided to build a platform that connects these two groups seamlessly.

Since it’s creation Skrife has completed over 150 requests for 20+ clients from 7 countries, including the United States, Australia, Nigeria, Ghana and Mauritius. Some brands currently using Skrife include ALU Education, Paystack, Ingressive, Tress and Start Smart.

The platform have been in private beta testing and has now been officially launched to the public. Content creators and those in need of quality content can now connect on www.strife.com
