We just 2 days to go to the Maiden Edition of the Annual ELOY conference is a part of the initiative of the ELOY Awards Foundation. The ELOY Conference is being used as a platform to educate and empower thousands of women. The ELOY Awards Foundation is about empowering and challenging thousands of women to be more and do more by providing access to resources, business skills, and tools for them to be able to grow, transform and sustain their businesses, which will, in turn, benefit their families and the community at large.

50 women will also be chosen to be part of the ELOY Awards Foundation Sustainable Empowerment Program (SEP). This gives them access to Six months of mentorship, training, and affordable finance. The ELOY Awards Foundation is about empowering and challenging thousands of women to be more and do more by providing access to resources, business skills, and tools for them to be able to grow, transform and sustain their businesses, which will, in turn, benefit their families and the community at large.

This year’s edition is themed; “Empower her to sustain her”.

The ELOY Conference will take place on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at the Muson Center, Lagos.

ELOY

IVIE TEMITAYO – IBITOYE – Recruitment and Human Resources Development Consultant.

Ivie Temitayo-Ibitoye is the Lead Consultant at Elite Hunters, the Founder of Work in Nigeria and Co-Founder of Starcvng.com. She is responsible for developing strategies for attracting, developing and retaining talent for corporate organizations and SMEs in diverse industries across Nigeria as well as providing individuals with recruitment opportunities and employability strategies for career growth.

 Ivie has been instrumental in the recruitment of talents from junior to senior management level positions, as well as, contributing her quota to national development by preparing Nigeria’s talents for the labor market through career advisory initiatives such as CV writing, interview coaching, and mentorship.

 During the course of her HR career, she has successfully managed the overall provision of HumanResources services, policies, and programs; and has helped various organizations boost overall performance through effective HR, strategy building, fair and coherent compensation & benefits, and employee engagement.

 Ivie is passionate about people development and humanitarian endeavors; she spends her spare time volunteering with various initiatives. Her educational background includes an LLB in Law from the University of Benin and a BL from the Nigerian Law School.

JANET ADETU

Janet Adetu FCCA, MIOD, CIC, MCIPM, AMC, is a certified Executive Personal Development &Transformational Leadership Coach. Janet is also a certified Protocol & Etiquette expert,  a John Maxwell Coach, Speaker & Trainer, with DISC Personality & EmotionalIntelligence Expertise. Janet likes to be referred to as a Peak Performance Driver using interpersonal skills and 360-degree leadership tools to accelerate growth and productivity in her clients.

 Janet is the Chief Executive / Lead Consult of JSK Consulting Group with over 25years’ experience in the corporate sphere. Janet started her career as a banker then moved on as a Financial Auditor working for two top accounting firms KPMGand Ernst & Young where she discovered and built her interpersonal skills. Janet holds a BSc honors in Economics, an MBA and is a qualified Chartered Accountant; a fellow with the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants UK, (ACCA). Janet is an alumnus of the Edinburgh Business School in Edinburgh Scotland.

 Janet’s expatriate experience led her to have multitudes of exposure in business ethics, cultural diversity, international protocol, impression and reputation management with the application of leadership principles. These key speaking engagements take place in Nigeria, Kenya, and the United Kingdom respectively. Janet is dedicated to helping corporate organizations, professionals, expatriates, diplomats, individuals, and youths, to transform their potential and reach their peak. Janet is very happy as a mentor to a number of people across the globe impacting and adding value to their busy lives.

ELOY MAYOWA OGUNWEMIMO

Mayowa Ogunwemimo brings 20 years’ experience in investment, finance, accounting, research and Asset Management.

She is the current Managing Director of FSDH Asset Management and was appointed in 2014, from showing tenacity, hard work and commitment all through the years. Her experience, cut across various sectors like risk management, accounting, business development, research, investment management, and administration.

She joined FSDH Merchant Bank in 2004 and has proven to be of substantial value towards the growth and establishment of the organization. Over the years, Mayowa has also shown exemplary leadership and management skills, making FSDH Asset Management one of the most successful Asset Management companies in Nigeria. She holds a BSc in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University (2000), Ile-Ife, Osun State and also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

 Mayowa has vast knowledge in Fixed income, Money market, equities, and real estate markets and has attended several courses on Asset Management consultancy, sustainability, strategy, and business advisory firm based in Lagos, Nigeria.

 She also serves as Country & Regional Lead (Sub Saharan Africa) for The CSR Company, a global CSR Network of organizations spanning four continents – South East Asia, Europe, Middle East & Africa.

She is a Lecturer/Member of Faculty, MBA Program on International Corporate Social Responsibility Management at the Ferdinand Porsche FernFH – University of Applied Sciences, Austria.

 


ABIOLA ADEDIRAN

Abiola Adediran is an experienced finance professional, business strategist and entrepreneur with a strong background in external audit, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, due diligence, financial modelling, business valuations, and extensive experience in driving key structural changes in organizations from experience gathered while working with top financial services industry clients in the global audit firm- KPMG as well as in the investment management industry.

 She holds a B.Tech in Project Management Technology from Lagos State University, an MBA with a specialism in Finance from Edinburgh Business School, Scotland and also a Chartered Accountant. 

 Through her social impact platform, Midridge International, she provides financial advisory and business strategy support to SMEs. She’s been a keynote speaker, panelist and/or facilitator at various events. She serves as a business clinic consultant/mentor at FATE Foundation, a mentor on the WIMBIZ platform, amongst others.

 She’s been featured in StartupAfrica magazine in South Africa, She Leads Africa (SLA) and Independent newspaper in Nigeria

CHARLES O’TUDOR

Charles O’Tudor is Africa’s premiere Brand Strategist and Engagement Consultant.

Over the years, he has enriched the branding landscape with his innovative approach to brand building across all sectors of the economy.

 An alumnus of the prestigious Wits Business School, South Africa, Charles O’Tudor is the Group Principal Consultant of ADSTRAT Brand Management Consultants, a firm renowned for its out-of-box approach to brand strategy and engagement.

 Charles O’Tudor is an accomplished Author, Public Speaker, and Thought Leader. His intellectual thoughts are captured in two of his publications (Brands Arise – The Nigerian Brand Renaissance and The Charles O’Tudor Personal Brand Guide Volumes 0.1and 0.2).

 A recipient of numerous awards, including the Nelson Mandela African Leadership Award, Charles O’Tudor is a member of the board of directors, Nigerians in Diaspora (Europe), Member of Faculty, CITC Leadership Centre, and Member of the Advisory Board, Vivacity Global and The B.I.E.L initiative (The Hague, Netherlands).

 Charles O’Tudor believes that Entrepreneurship is the future of African economies. This has influenced his investment in entrepreneurs through his #COBMC series (The Charles O’Tudor Brand MasterClass) which has held consecutively for over three years. He is passionate about strategy, brand building, and engagement.

 

TEWA ONASANYA

 Tewa Onasanya a Publisher and Mindset Stylist holds a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Portsmouth, UK and is the Founder / CEO of Exquisite Magazine Services Ltd, the publishers of Exquisite Magazine a Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle Magazine for women. Exquisite magazine organizes the exquisite magazine annual cancer walk, an event aimed at increasing the awareness for cervical and breast cancer and free screening for people. In 2009, Exquisite Magazine started an only female awards ceremony called the exquisite ladies of the year (ELOY) awards, The ELOY Awards is aimed at celebrating women of excellence in different fields, empowering, motivating and inspiring others and it holds every last Sunday in November.

 “I love to inspire and motivate people to be the best they can be and the best version of themselves. With my wealth of experience over the years, I want to share my knowledge to empower other people”. 

IFEOMA OKAFOR OBI

Ifeoma Okafor Obi, the Director of Operations, Tony Elumelu Foundation. She will be speaking on “Sustaining Women Empowerment “

Ifeoma holds a first degree for Biochemistry and is a Commercial Strategy Expert. She has worked with multinationals like Procter & Gamble & Diageo.

Ifeoma achieved her dream of being an international author at 17!

It all started when she entered the BBC writing competition and became a finalist for Africa in 1995. 

She left her dream of creative writing and the ‘suggested dream’ of becoming a doctor to focus on a career in Sales Strategy & Business Development. 

Married with children, she has traveled to many countries. When not writing, she enjoys reading, watching cartoons with her children and fundraising for charity

SOJI AKINLABI

Soji Akinlabi, financial journalist and fellow of the prestigious Harvard Neiman Journalism, fellow of the Bloomberg Africa Financial Journalism Initiative, an entrepreneur and a private equity practitioner with over a decade experience in broadcast journalism and an experienced podcaster for about five years, he’s currently researching and reporting on how entrepreneurship, policies, and technology are driving and reshaping the industrialization of Africa. Four years ago, Soji founded Africa Business Radio, the only African digital business radio and podcast network focusing on providing insights and analysis on the African Business Landscape across the 55 AU member states. Leveraging on his wealth of knowledge from being a television broadcast journalist, Soji works with several global organization such as Commonwealth Africa, Africa Union, Siemens, United Nation Refugee Agency, United Nation Climate Change Agency, World Bank, The Gauteng Parliament, ONE.org, Clinton Foundation just to mention a few. Five years before establishing Africa Business Radio, Soji managed the team that produced Good Morning Africa, the only pan-African Breakfast show with over 200 million active viewers across the continent (as at the time) on the Africa Magic Channel. For Soji, the African narrative has never been truly told and he is the call! Soji Akinlabi.
