Dino Melaye is trending again, not for singing another song; this time, it’s for writing a book which he launched yesterday about fighting corruption. He launched the book titled ‘Antidotes for Corruption’ and many Nigerians are finding it very ironic that he would write such a book. Present at the book launch were dignitaries like former first lady of Nigeria, Patience Jonathan, current Senate President, Bukola Saraki and even former Big Brother Naija housemate, TBoss. The internet trolls are making fun of the whole issue saying that corrupt people are writing a book about how to tackle corruption. Here are a couple of screenshots of such tweets:

Femi Kuti Smashes Record For Longest Note Held On The Saxophone
Femi Kuti is trending for smashing the world record for longest note held on a saxophone over the weekend. Last week, he tried to break it, but he got the information about the record wrong and broke the second place record, which was held by Kenny G. Femi has shattered it on a second attempt, with a record of 51 minutes, 35 seconds. He broke the record by Vann Burchfield which ran for 47 minutes, 5.5 seconds.

A few days after WHO announced that 3 people died of Ebola in Congo, Nigeria’s Minister for Health, Professor Isaac Odewole, has ordered that people coming into Nigeria at the airports should be checked for any telltale signs of the disease. The Health Minister has also made a call to Nigerians not to panic, but to be cautious and report any slight fever.

Brave Couple Gets Married On Mount Everest
A thrill-seeking couple got married on the highest mountain in the world and their wedding photos are trending everywhere. This brave and adventurous couple decided to break from the conventional and got married up at the base camp of Mount Everest. Although they are not the first couple to get married on the mountain, they are the first to do it in their wedding clothes. They trekked for three weeks and were faced with harsh weather conditions and even sickness but that didn’t stop the determined couple. They got to exchange their vows in a tuxedo and wedding gown and the mountains and a few humans were the witnesses. Call them crazy, but they have achieved their dreams.
