TAKE A LOOK AT MEGHAN MARKLE’S WEDDING CAKE
According to its master baker,”Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding cake will have an “ethereal” taste and an unusual display”.
Meghan Markle’s cake of choice is a lemon elderflower cake to serve at the wedding reception, a break from the traditional fruitcake typically served at British weddings. The unique cake is expected to incorporate “the bright flavours of spring,” according to Kensington Palace.
Claire Ptak is the owner of Violet Bakery. She has been working with her team of six bakers for the past five days in the oversized kitchens of Buckingham Palace.
The three-part layered lemon and elderflower cake will be presented in a non-traditional way, master baker Claire Ptak said.
But she said she was not ready to reveal ahead of time the design, which has been approved by Prince Harry and Ms. Markle.
The pair will get married at Windsor Castle on Saturday evening (AEST).
