Dare we say it but 2022 was the year we loved! We loved seeing our loved celebrities marry the ones they love and it was a lovely sight to behold. There were a lot of engagements and fairytale weddings we almost wonder what love stories 2023 has in store ‘cos they all seem to be used up, lol.
It’s January 2023, and what better way to start a new year than with love – the purest emotion of all. That’s why we just love bringing you a recap of some of our favourite celebrity weddings – brides of course, but grooms too in some cases – of 2022…and a hint as to some we can look forward to this year as well.

Ini Dima-Okojie and Abasi Ene-Obong
From their civil wedding to their white wedding, these lovebirds held us spellbound. On the 28th of May, they sealed the deal on this next level of their forever journey as they exchanged their vows in an outdoor white wedding ceremony and it was every shade of beautiful. One truth stands correct throughout time and it is this – love is beautiful! Our excitement in 2022 was at an all-time high with all the love. However, let’s not forget those who got engaged in the course of 2022 and those who unboxed things on Boxing day, because it means wedding bells are around the corner. Some of these engagements include Mr. Eazi & Temi Otedola, DJ Cuppy, and Omowunmi Dada are some of our favs who announced 2022 engagements also. We absolutely can’t wait for the pomp and pizzaz that is sure to follow.
