Stunning Photos From The Easter Lagos Carnival
The 8 day Lagos carnival ended yesterday 21st April with a parade which started at Awolowo Road, Ikoyi and ended at the Tafawa Balewa Square. Special Guests of honour were the state governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola and Minister of Tourism Edem Duke.
60, 000 people gathered at TBS, where they were addressed by the governor who said,
“This is the end of a whole week of fun from the regatta to the carnival. This is the real spirit of Lagos. Little by little, we have built our own canival and it has grown from strength to strength.”
