If You Missed the Lunar Eclipse, You Cannot See It Again Till 2033
So, you missed seeing the lunar eclipse and supermoon last night? Many people around the world (in North America, West Africa and parts of Europe) were able to see as the “lunar eclipse coincided with a so-called ‘supermoon’.” Unfortunately, you wouldn’t be able to witness it again till for several years, BBC reports till 2033.
According to BBC, a supermoon occurs “when the moon is in the closest part of its orbit to Earth,” which means it becomes more visible in the sky. Additionally, the moon appears to be red because of the eclipse.
