WIMBIZ Holds Webinar for Women in Politics (WIMPol) & Unveils Mentors in Political Sector

 

Yesterday, Thursday 9th July 2020, WIMBIZ (Women In Management, Business & Public Service) held its 2020 WIMPol Webinar for women in politics.

This virtual event was designed to bridge the gap in the low representation of women in politics. By guiding existing and intending female politicians & imparting them with the required skills and information, the WIMPol webinar hopes to help them achieve their political goals, ultimately attaining relevancy and making an impact.

WIMBIZ has unveiled its Mentors for women in politics and aims to make them a fundamental part of the WIMBIZ Women in Politics program.

This year’s event hosted distinguished speakers who have a combined professional experience of over 100 years in the political and electoral reform space.

Speakers:
1. Ahmed Raji, SAN – Founder/Principal, Ahmed Raji & Co.
2. Senator Binta Masi Garba – Senator of Adamawa North Senatorial District. (2015-2019)
3. Clement Nwankwo – Executive Director, Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre
4. Professor Ayo Atsenuwa – Dean and Professor of Law, University of Lagos, Director at Legal Research & Resource Development Centre
