Omoni Oboli Gets Standing Ovation At Being Mrs. Elliot Premiere In Lagos

Nollywood has always being known to stand up for one of their own at every turn and this was displayed  as actress, producer and director Omoni Oboli premiered her movie ‘Being Mrs Elliott’, at Silverbird Galleria on Saturday 30th August 2014.

For the premiere of Being Mrs Elliot, producer and director of the movie Omoni Oboli wore a floor-length white embellished dress. The movie premiere started with a red carpet that had celebrities like Desmond Elliot, Ayo Makun (AY), Halima Abubakar, Seun Akindele, Daniel .k. Daniel, Belinda Effah, Slyvia Oluchy, O. C. Ukeje, Linda Ejiofor, Peggy Ovire, Tosyn Bucknor, Susan Peters, Toyin Aihmaku-Johnson, Niyi Johnson, Nnamdi Oboli, Kene Mkparu, and many more.

Speaking at the event Omoni said

I am grateful to all of you for being here. It has been a long and tough journey but thank God, here we are today. This story is dear to my heart and I hope that you feel the same way too at the end of this event. I am grateful to all our sponsors without whom I would not have been able to do this. Thanks and I love you all very much.
