To celebrate their big 10 year anniversary, Nigerian womenswear brand – Lola Buttons, brings you a fabulous new collection. Tagged “1985” this collection comes with a clear motive to applaud the strength of a woman living her life on her terms, one dream at a time.
The birthday-inspired collection consists of pieces labelled with the numbers 1 – 8th of March. Each piece, although distinct in its own way, adds to the collective aesthetics of the Lola Buttons brand and signature style.
With these endearing pieces, Lola pushes creativity with the intent to solidify the celebration of life. As inherent in the brand’s storytelling through the lens of fashion, “1985” affirms the different sides of a woman, honouring each moment and acknowledging the abundance that life affords us.
According to the Creative Director, Funmilola Omokunga;
The inspiration behind this new collection came from my birthday, and it is basically to celebrate the strength of a woman and also, the brand itself. I created 8 fun pieces and they are all reflections of the classic Lola Buttons pieces
