Netflix‘s Far From Home is here – ready?

The movie industry has really been good to us this year – and even though it’s the end of the year we’re still getting some great features.

Netflix’s first Nigerian young adult series – Far From Home has just been released (head over to Netflix to watch) and we are giddy. Not just for the series and all it has to offer, but also because we have a new Special Issue starring its lead actor – Mike Afolarin.

We get to watch amazing young talents like Mike Afolarin, Genoveva Umeh, Elma Mbadiwe, Olumide Oworu and more do their thing, but also some Nollywood greats. Legendary actors Richard Mofe-Damijo, Funke Akindele, Bimbo Akintola and many more occupy amazing roles along with Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Deyemi Okanlawo, Ufuoma Mcdermott, Bolanle Ninalowo, Bucci Franklin, Erica Nlewedim and more.

In this issue, we dive into what to expect – Mike Afolarin who plays the lead character Ishaya, discusses his character and career trajectory, Elma Mbadiwe gives some candid advice for upcoming talents and Olumide shares what’s next for his career.
