The Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi, has had his pay slashed from N5m to N4m by the Nigerian Football Federation As reported by Pius Ayinor of Punch Newspaper, the slash is due to the current economic situation in the country.
It is reported that Keshi’s manager had requested for N7m but the NFF said they couldn’t afford that. In addition to the cut, the coach has been offered a two year deal which is expected to terminate in 2017.
Keshi is yet to respond to any of these issues or sent the NFF an acceptance letter. We wonder if the coach will accept the offer since reports have it that he is considering taking up job with the Burkina faso team?
