DUST & PETALS

 

Dust and Petals, a solo exhibition of works by Omoligho Udenta opens in Lagos tomorrow. It features the artist use of flowers as a metaphor for humanity. The exhibition is a collection of works which portray her interpretations of the various aspects of the human race and is comprised of works from the past year.

Although primarily working with paper, Udenta has created a variety of works inspired by the diversity in nature, and has combined a range of materials, forms and arrangements to convey her thoughts and draw the audience attention to a number of subtle human situations and other often overlooked issues.
