THE VMA’S BUZZ: ALL HAIL THE QUEEN OF THE NIGHT
The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards held yesterday at Madison Square Garden Manhattan. The event saw the convergence of the “who is who” in the music industry.
Queen Bey Performance was a show stopper as she thrilled the crowd with a Lemonade Medley Live Performance. Not only was she the artiste with the most nominations which were a total of eleven with Adele following closely with a total of eight nominations.
Visuals from her highly controversial Lemonade album bagged eight awards in different categories which includes; best video of the year, best female video of the year, breakthrough long video of the year, best pop video of the year, best choreography, best editing, best cinematography and best direction, making her the artiste with the most awards for the night.
The ceremony did not disappoint as there were eclectic performances from various A-list artistes like Rihanna, Britney spears, Future, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, and others. See the full award list at www.mtv.com
