UAE Announces Intentions to Grant 5-Year Visas to Tourists
The year is off a great start with great news for Nigerians who love going to the UAE. The UAE Cabinet announced via the official Twitter handle that they intend to grant all tourists 5-year visas for multiple entries into the UAE.
They tweeted – “UAE cabinet chaired by @HHShkMohd, approves new amendment for tourist visas in #UAE. The new tourist visa will be valid for 5 years and can be used for multiple entries and is open for all nationalities.“
According to the Gulf News, holders of the new visa may be permitted to enter the UAE for up to 6 months at a go every time they enter the UAE while their visa is valid, and the terms, and conditions for getting the five-year visa will remain the same as those in place for all other types of tourist visas.
Prior to this announcement, tourists were only given 30-day and 90-day visas, depending on the country.
