Met Gala 2019: Celebs take ‘naked trend’ to new level on red carpet

Every year, scores of celebs attend the New York city museum in a bid to outdo each other with their outfits. Theme at the Met Gala 2019 was “Camp: Notes on Fashion” assigned by Vogue Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour.

And this year, we’ve seen some very risqué outfits as A-listers made a special effort.

Jennifer Lopez flaunted her jaw-dropping figure in a flashy Versace dress.

It featured a plunging V-neckline and a thigh-high slit.

The beauty paired the dress with platform heels, stacks of diamond bracelets, rings and a silver clutch.

Emily looked like a goddess in a gown that was reportedly designed by Peter Dundas.

She almost suffered a wardrobe malfunction as the silver dress had a huge cutout right on her torso.

For this look, the beauty took inspiration from the iconic Cher, who she called the “Queen of Camp” on her Instagram.

The model bared her killer abs in a black lace dress and coordinating headpiece.

She also flaunted her leg in the high-thigh split ensemble.

The 33-year-old stripped on the red carpet in an incredible four-costume display on the steps of the US venue.

She started off in a big pink tent, then changed into a black ensemble, followed by tight dress.

As for her final outfit, Lady Gaga donned sparkly booty shorts and fishnet tights.

The beauty dazzled on the red carpet while posing with her husband Kanye West.

According to the reality star, the look was “eight months in the making”.
