Find out how to make ayamase, the designer stew stealing hearts away!

You know how it’s often said that one good thing steals your heart forever; well in this case, it’s the popular designer stew. Once you taste it you are hooked! You are definitely going to get bitten by the Designer stew bug.
The good news now is that we can replicate this stew in our homes. So here’s how to make the Designer stew:
INGREDIENTS
1¼ cup of palm oil
6 tablespoon of iru (locust beans)
Cubed sized already cooked assorted meat (Shaki, Kpomo, Liver)
Boiled eggs (optional)
1 tsp of salt
Maggi cubes
Crayfish
Onions
Green Bell pepper (Green Tatashe)
Green Habenero pepper
PREPARATION
- In a blender, combine all green pepper and onion for 20 seconds, place in a pot and boil for 15 minutes. (note that boil it the pepper mixture is an unnecessary step because the same results can be achieved with or without boiling the pepper)
- Heat up a pot and add palm oil. Allow it bleach for 2 minutes just until the oil changes to a lighter color. (note that it would get smoky so it is better to put on a heat extractor if any or leave the windows and doors open until the smoke is gone)
- Add chopped onions fry until it is golden brown and pour already blended or cooked pepper and allow to cook for 15 minutes
- Add assorted meat, iru, crayfish, Maggi cubes and salt to taste. Mix thoroughly and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Then add peeled hard-boiled eggs.
Your Designer stew is ready and it can be served with any rice of your choice, boiled yams, potatoes or plantains.
