The day kicked off with a Beauty Conversation among 4 amazing women – Oke Maduewesi (CEO, Zaron Cosmetics), Adenrele Edwards (Founder, Nzuri | Founder/CEO, Robert Edwards Foundation), Nicole Chikwe (Founder, The Mummy Summit | Influencer) and Jennifer Obiuwevbi (Assistant Editor, TW Magazine NG | Founder, Pen-Shy Relations). These women discussed beauty from the inside out with the topic “Me Therapy”.
Next up was a firery session on changing Negative Money Mindsets with Oghogho Osula (MD/CEO, OO’s Value Investments) & Patience Carew (Life & Money Coach). They broke down what it means to have a negative money mindset and how to invest the smart way.
Next, we sat with Dr Patrick Ijewere of Carib Health Wellness Centre as he walked us through the “Pillars of Health” and then danced our way to fitness with Little (Sweat) Drops with Dr Kaffy Shafau. These sessions were followed by a stirring conversation among 5 women who are taking health seriously. Adesuwa Onyenokwe (Publisher, Today’s Woman | Life & Relationships Coach), Shereese Ijewere (CEO, Carib Health) and Kris Oziofu Ero (Stress Mastery Expert | Holistic Living Coach) discussed “Health Through the Ages”.
Beauty (Part 2)
The day wrapped up with another Beauty conversation – “Aesthetic Dermatology – Yes, No Maybe?” with Dr Bea or Brich Aesthetics.
The 2nd day of TW Oasis was packed with loads of amazing information and interesting insight. The event took place at AIMAS Gardens in Ikoyi and had great sessions & people. The day kicked off with an awesome Yoga Breathing Session by Yogi Tochi to welcome guests.
Next up we had Dr Maymunah Kadiri (Founder, Pinnacle Medical Services & Psychologist) walk us through Mental Health with the “My Mind & Me” session.
Relationships (Part 1)
The next session was one we knew women would be very interested in and that was “Ms. Miss & Mrs” – exploring the ins and outs of women finding themselves first before becoming anything else. Our Speakers – Shaffy Bello (Actor | Humanitarian), Didi Edet (Founder, MatchMakerDidi | Dating Coach), Stephanie Coker Aderinokun (TV Host | Actor | Author) & our Moderator for the day, Omowunmi Akinnifesi (Coach | Ex-MBGN | Founder, Global Woman Africa) all shared their experiences and helped women understand the need to be the leading lady of your own life.
Time for a fashion break! The ladies of TW and a few good friends – Adesuwa Onyenokwe, Jennifer Obiuwevbi, Oghogho Osula, Adenrele Edwards, Kris Oziofu Ero and Tobi Olanihun of WOW Connet all took to the runway in custom Needlepoint Woman pieces. This feature was all part of a fashion segment titled – “I Can’t Come & Kill Myself” Fashion with a special video with Needlepoint Woman CEO, Theresa Onwuka.
Following that awesome session was a chat with the guys. Business Staretegist, Steve Harris chimed in on the Ms. Miss & Mrs conversation speaking to the constructs of the female mind and how he advises women approach dating. Definitely insightful.
Relationships (Part 2)
The 2nd Relationships panel – “Guy Code” had some awesome guys – Daniel Etim Effiong (Actor | FilmMaker), Akah Nnani (Actor | Content Creator) & Michael Mayowa Sonariwo (Entrepreneur | Host | Content Strategist). Together they shared what they thought of confident women, their perspectives on love languages and more.
Finally, what’s a Wellness meet without talking about the “forbidden” 3-letter word – S-E-X. Adesuwa Ewoigbokhan (a.k.a Sissy Ade) and Yeside Olayinka-Agbola of OloriCoitus dished on “Working My Body”.
After the sessions, guests were treated to delicious juices, wraps & sandwiches from Simply Green, great palm wine from Palm Africa and more.
