ANThill by Enitan Takes Us to the 70s with the “Lady Shakara” Collection
Nigerian fashion designers have really taken the world by storm, and with each year more designers prove to us that they are a force to reckon with. Today, we’re taking a look at one designer we have come to love -ANThill by Enitan.
This womenswear brand, like most Nigerian fashion designers we love, has created a collection that will truly make the Nigerian woman look and feel amazing. Titled “Lady Sakara”, the collection is made up of beautiful silhouettes accented with asymmetrical hemlines, all created from Adire & Aso-Oke fabrics.
Here’s what the brand had to say about its collection;
Lady Shakara”, much like the “Lady” in Fela Kuti‘s classic, has clear self-awareness about her place in the world and how she wants to be regarded. In the same vein, the “Lady Shakara” collection uses top quality locally made Adire & also-oke fabrics to create magically and perfectly sculpted pieces that women of every generation can wear and flourish in.
