Mo Abudu’s EbonyLife Signs “First-Look Deal” with Sony Pictures Television! πŸ‘πŸΏπŸ‘πŸΏπŸ‘πŸΏ

Mo Abudu just made another historic move for African entertainment. Following their 2018 three-project co-development/production deal, EbonyLife has signed another with Sony Pictures Television. They just announced an exclusive deal where Sony gets a first look at all new EbonyLife-controlled scripted television projects. This applies to all their content created, originated or developed by or for EbonyLife and intended for a global audience.

This two-year deal is aimed at identifying & showcasing projects that promote EbonyLife’s core goal to present a pioneering & progressive Africa to a global audience.

Sony Pictures Television’s EVP for Global Scripted Development, Nina Lederman said “We are delighted to be broadening our relationship with Mo and the team at EbonyLife, who have created some of the most compelling and successful content in all of Africa. We’re excited to have the opportunity to help bring their soulful African storytelling to platforms serving a global audience“.
