Halle Berry broke three ribs rehearsing for ‘John Wick 3’
Halle Berry has shared that she broke three ribs while rehearsing for her role as an assassin in John Wick: Chapter 3 Parabellum, and that she treated the injury like a “badge of honour”.
The Oscar winning actress stars alongside Keanu Reeves in the third installment of the series. Halle plays Sofia, an assassin and friend of John Wick.
During an interview with ExtraTV she revealed that she suffered several injuries while training for the role, “I worked for a little while with broken ribs until I could no longer do it.”
The 52-year-old also revealed her intense training schedule which included: Stunt, gun, dog and strength training.
Halle Berry says she went to her physical limits in order to star in the latest chapter of Keanu Reeves’ action franchise.
John Wick: Chapter 3 Parabellum opens in SA cinemas on Friday, 17 May.
