ELOY CONFERENCE 2019: MEET PANELLISTS DISCUSSING

The ELOY Conference 2019 will take place on Wednesday, 13 November 2019 at The Muson Center, Lagos. This year’s edition is themed; “Empower her to sustain her”.

Meet our panelists who would be speaking on the topic; “Importance of sustaining women empowerment”.

CHINENYE NNOLI

Chinenye Nnoli is a media entrepreneur, whose work has gained international recognition for her role in showcasing female pacesetters from Africa on international platforms.

She is a trained lawyer and International economics alumni of Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, USA, and Pan Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria.

Ms. Nnoli is a talk-show host, movie producer and founder of Metrowoman Limited, a multi-media company that creates content to empower, inspire and entertain women in Africa.

In 2017, she interviewed and showcased 100 female entrepreneurs on several international platforms, 30{54d2fcdcd494adb6982253be6fe8d5492e5f586157f419110131714f9092ec60} of the entrepreneurs she showcased have received support and funding from interested investors.

Her programs are currently aired on terrestrial stations across the country and South Africa and on DSTV African Magic Channels covering the entire African region.

She was nominated as one of the most inspiring African women in media in 2018 by NEXT TVCEO Mauritius and on the Leading Ladies Africa list of 100 most inspiring women in 2017. She is a Lee Iacocca Global Village Fellow and an Obama Foundation Leader Africa Fellow.

She is also a member of the Anambra State Youth Advisory Board. She has also founded The Metrowoman Empowerment Foundation, an NGO that organizes programs and seminars to empower and mentor female entrepreneurs.

FISHER DAVID

Mr. Fisher David Adeyinka is a Chartered Accountant, had his first degree in Economics from Lagos State University and proceed to University of Ibadan for his Master programme in Economics and specialised in monetary economics and in the same University he did another Master program in Industrial Labour Relation and also had certification on Micro Finance development by world Bank , after which went to Canada to study Business Development Program and also in India where he studied Entrepreneurship Development Program at ICECD Institute at Ahmendabad.

He later went to Malaysia to study policy and framework for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises and in Indonesia, he studied Business Counselling Development. In 2016 he has certification on ISO 9001 by UNIDO on Management Information System on Standard and in 2017 another certification by UNIDO on ISO 14001 on Business Environment. In 2018 he became Fellow of Institute of Chartered Business Consultant (ICBC) His working career started as a business marketer, later as a teacher and lecturer at various Universities on part-time basis then join National Productivity Centre, a ResearchOrganisation as senior research officer and presently, he works with Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria as the State Coordinator in Lagos State.

He has been into various businesses like recycling, school, farming, business development, and consultancy services for small businesses on business plan preparation and implementation.

INI ABIMBOLA

Ini Abimbola is the Lead Consultant of ThistlePraxis Consulting Limited (TPC), a management consultancy, sustainability, strategy, and business advisory firm based in Lagos, Nigeria.

She also serves as Country & Regional Lead (Sub Saharan Africa) for The CSR Company, a global CSR Network of organizations spanning four continents – South East Asia, Europe, Middle East & Africa.

She is a Lecturer/Member of Faculty, MBA Program on International Corporate Social Responsibility Management at the Ferdinand Porsche FernFH – University of Applied Sciences, Austria.

A 2008 Draper Hills Fellow on Democracy, Development & Rule of Law at Stanford University California and an alumnus of the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program, Ini also holds degrees in International Relations & Diplomacy and Management.

With over 18 years working in the international development space with broad consulting experience & expertise on corporate governance, strategic policy formulation, CSR, sustainability, development communications, strategy formulation & evaluation, change management, projects & innovations management, Ini is a published author of 3 books and over 25 publications (chapters, articles), and has delivered more than 100 presentations in over 15 countries in the last 10 years on a range of topics some of which include: Corporate Governance, Change Management, Enterprise Development, Sustainability & CSR.

She is also the Founder, Thistle Group, an emerging group of enterprises in Gas, Logistics, research, and media.

TALE ALIMI

Tale is a 3X founder, an entrepreneurial thought leader who has consulted, coached and spoken to over 5,000 small businesses and corporate teams on topics such as sales strategy, business growth, marketing, and scaling business.

She is the author of two books. The well-received Uplevel and the soon to be released Small to scale book. She has been featured as an entrepreneurial expert in major Newspapers like Guardian, Business day, Sun and Thisday.

She has also been invited to speak on business topics on Television programs on Arise TV, Silverbird TV, and Ebonylife tv.

She has a B. Sc in Accounting, Masters in Business Administration, Diploma in Computer science, a certificate in Marketing, Oracle Certified Database Administrator, Full-Stack web developer, Student of the school of street entrepreneurship and hard knocks.

SOLAPE HAMMOND

Solape Hammond is the Co-Founder of Impact Hub Lagos. She co-founded the company in September 2017 and has been managing it ever since.

She started Impact Hub Lagos to help people out there make the best of their potential and ideas. Ensuring they have suitable conditions, facilities, and the right motivation to help them.

Prior to the founding of Impact Hub Lagos, she worked as the CEO of companies such as Calag Capital Ltd, and Ten Talents Ltd. Due to her rich background as a financial advisor, she was also able to secure a job as a Finance and Performance Manager at Accenture.

She is a graduate of the University of Ibadan where she studied economics. She also attained her MBA in Business Management at INSEAD, Asia.

She is currently the special adviser to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals.

TEWA ONASANYATewa Onasanya a Publisher and Mindset Stylist holds a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Portsmouth, UK and is the Founder / CEO of Exquisite Magazine Services Ltd, the publishers of Exquisite Magazine a Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle Magazine for women. Exquisite magazine organizes the exquisite magazine annual cancer walk, an event aimed at increasing the awareness for cervical and breast cancer and free screening for people. In 2009, Exquisite Magazine started an only female awards ceremony called the exquisite ladies of the year (ELOY) awards, The ELOY Awards is aimed at celebrating women of excellence in different fields, empowering, motivating and inspiring others and it holds every last Sunday in November.
