Over the weekend, former Governor of Cross Rivers state, Donald Duke gave his daughter, Xerona away in traditional marriage rites to popular disc jockey, Dr. Caise
The couple had their traditional wedding ceremony at Donal Duke’s private residence in Calabar, Cross River State.
Xerona was dressed like an Efik princess while Dr. Caise aka Derin Philips was dressed like a proper Yoruba angel.
Xerona is a songwriter, filmmaker, and activist while Dr. Caise, her husband is the son of Engineer Lanre Phillips and Chief (Mrs) Olateju Phillips, the former Lagos Commissioner for Special Duties and the first daughter of the legendary billionaire, Chief Deinde Fernandez.
Several dignitaries were present at the wedding and they include Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II HRM. Edidem Ekpa, Obong of Calabar, billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote, and former Ogun state governor Segun Osoba, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa and many others.
