How to make Chicken curry sauce

Chicken curry

With chicken curry you can never go wrong and it is a meal you’ll also really love. Unless if of course you are vegetarian.

The beautiful fact about chicken is that you can cook it in so many ways and always end up with a delicious meal. Our belief is that out of the numerous ways you can cook chicken, one of the best ways to use chicken is to prepare a chicken curry sauce.

Today, we want to teach you how to prepare chicken curry sauce. We promise it will leave you family and guests asking for more.

Ingredients (note that your ingredients may vary in terms of the number of people you are cooking for)
6-8 pieces of chicken
2 scotch bonnet peppers (Atarodo)
Green peppers
2 medium sized onions
2 1/2 tbsp. of flour
3 large potatoes
Coconut cream(milk)
3 cloves of garlic
1 bay leaf
Ginger
Knorr chicken cubes
Salt
Curry powder
Turmeric powder
Cayenne pepper
Directions
• Wash your chicken and season to your desire with thyme, curry, chicken, salt, ginger garlic and Maggi chicken cubes. Leave to marinate for over 30 minutes or more before cooking if you have the time. You can as well start cooking immediately you just need to add a little water and put on fire.
• While your chicken is cooking, grab you chopped potatoes and mixed vegetables season with a little amount of Maggi cubes, garlic and a tiny pinch of curry, set aside to marinate.
• Your chicken should be ready at this point. In a large pot, heat up some cooking oil. Add your seasoned chicken, veggies and potatoes then fry until the chicken becomes slightly brown.
• Add onions, diced scotch bonnet pepper and green pepper
• Add some water then cover and leave it to simmer for about 10 minutes
• After 10 minute, add a little flour for thickening then add water to it and mix together until they are nice and smooth.
• Most of your ingredients should be thoroughly cooked by now, you can turn your heat off and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes or you can turn your burner to the lowest flame possible for up to three minutes
• Your sauce is ready now! It can be served with pasta, potatoes or most importantly rice.
