The Met Gala, otherwise known as the most fashionable night of the year has finally come and gone.

This year’s Met Gala religion-themed Gala saw shimmering golds, reds and fuchsia, in crowns and in crosses, and even a pair of giant wings.

The exhibition—“Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”—holds plenty drama, but the event began on the iconic stairs of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where guests sweep up the red carpet for their grand entrance.
