Nicki Minaj Becomes First Female Rapper To Move Over 5 Million Units Per Album

Nicki Minaj has broken one record after the next since she entered the music industry years ago — and she’s still reigning as the ‘Rap Queen’

Nicki Minaj’s worldwide success has many considering her as one of the greatest female talents in rap music’s history. Since her arrival on the scene, her smooth bars and melody have impressed her fans as she has steadily built an empire atop a limited class of women in hip-hop.

Though the scene of female rappers appears to be expanding, Nicki likely still tops them all, even though she didn’t release an album since 2014.

On Twitter, the news broke that Nikki Minaj has officially sold over 5 million units worldwide of each her albums.

The albums include Pink Friday, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, The Pinkprint.
