The second edition of the Women in Journalism Conference (WiJ2015) took place yesterday (July 2, 2015) at MUSON Centre, Lagos. The yearly global gathering of women journalists and media professionals had the theme ‘Truth and Objectivity in the Digital Age,’. This year’s conference was hosted by our publisher & veteran journalist Adesuwa Onyenokwe and Yomi Owope.
Some of the speakers at this year’s conference were Mr. Toni Kan Onwordi, Tolu Ogunlesi, Yemisi Aiyedun (Sisi Yemmie), Ruth Benemasia-Opia, Lamide Akintobi, Funke-Treasure Durod, Abike Dabiri, Tabia Princewill, Kehinde Young-Harry, Bimbo Roberts Oloyede, Kiki Mordi, Senator Chris Anyanwu, Agatha Amata, Uchenna Mojekeu, Tosyn Bucknor & so many others.
