Tiger Woods has won his fifth Masters tournament yesterday Sunday, with a 2-under 70 and 13-under overall at Augusta National Golf Club. It’s his first Masters win since 2005, and first major championship since winning the 2008 PGA Championship.
This is a huge comeback after text conversations between him and a lady were released. Creating a huge cheating scandal that led to a divorce. Tiger also lost his career, endorsements, money and had to visit rehab multiple times while battling back and knee surgeries.
He shocked the world yesterday by emerging winner of the 83rd masters, ending an 11 year drought and going on to claim a spot on no. 6 where he was formerly ranked 1,119th in the world. This just proves that anything and everything is possible if you can focus long enough and try again.
Tiger took to twitter after the game revealing “My career has experienced ups and downs. I once wondered if I can still play golf again. Today, I won here, I hope my experience will be motivating for everyone who is experiencing setbacks, I hope they will never give up.”
