Kiki Mordi’s “BBC Africa Eye: Sex For Grades” Investigative Documentary has Been Nominated for an Emmy!

We are more than excited for Investigative Journalist, Filmmaker and Presenter, Kiki Mordi as her expose for BBC Africa Eye – “Sex for Grades” has been nominated for an Emmy!
The investigation sparked a nationwide conversation about the age-long sexual harassment of students by lecturers for grades. It exposed university officials in the University of Lagos and University of Ghana and shone a light on the prevalent issues even Kiki herself has faced. Her & her teams work, never being in vain, is now being recognized in the category of “Current Affairs” at the International Emmy Awards.
Kiki Mordi shared the amazing news via Twitter tweeting;
Here’s me, despite being an emotional mess, announcing that @BBCAfrica #BBCAfricaEye‘s #SexForGrades is nominated in the “Current Affairs” category for this year’s international Emmys.
Every single soul that made this project come alive deserves this honor! https://t.co/KemqXtZAYl— Kiki Mordi (@kikimordi) August 18, 2020
“Sex for Grades” has been nominated alongside other entries from The UK and Brazil. We hope this is a win in the works.
Congratulations to Kiki and her Team!
