Buhari To Name Tolu Ogunlesi as Special Adviser on New Media
Tolu Ogunlesi is quite a familiar face not just among the tw magazine family but as a renowned journalist who won the 2009 Arts and Culture prize in the annual CNN Multichoice African Journalism Awards. He clinched the CNN awards again in another category in 2013.
Now, he is about to be recognized by the present administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, as the Special Adviser on New Media.
Though we are yet to get concrete confirmation, Premium Times reports that Tolu has undergone security screening and the announcement is likely to be made in a couple of days.
Tolu will be taking up this position after Reno Omokiri who was the social media anchor during Dr. Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
We send our congratulatory messages to Tolu ahead of the announcement.
