Ibadan stood still over the weekend as the ‘who is who ‘ of Nigeria showed up to witness the joining in holy matrimony of Idris and Fatima, son and daughter of Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state and his Kano state counterpart Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje.

The wedding reception ,held at the renovated Agodi gardens on Saturday ,which would continue to register in the minds of people for a long time, several dignitaries were in attendance such as : vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo; Wife of the president , Mrs Aisha Buhari; former Head of state,Gen. Yakubu Gowon; APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; business mogul, Alhaji Aliko Dangote; Femi Otedola; Oba Rilwan Akiolu and Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Adewale.

The entire celebration has been nothing short of amazing, from the traditional wedding which held 3rd of March,2018 in Kano. Showcasing a beautiful blend of Northern and Yoruba culture with a rich mix of colors.

The grand event kicked off with an Arabia Henna party, Kamu, Dinner ceremony, Durbar, Kai Amarya and Yini Biki. the bride, Hajiya Fatima, was adorned in a Fulani 3-piece Komole with Bijoux detail in apricot designed by Deola Sagoe.

The event was spiced by popular comedians, Basketmouth, Bovi and Gbenga Adeyinka.A highlight of the event was the cutting of the wedding cake and dancing by the celebrators, both parents and guests beamed with joy and happiness throughout the ceremony.
