DEVILLED EGGS

Devilled eggs are also known as stuffed eggs, Russian eggs, or dressed eggs, are hard-boiled eggs that have been shelled, cut in half, and filled with a paste made from the egg yolks mixed with other ingredients such as mayonnaise and mustard.

Here’s the recipe to follow or delicious devilled eggs.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 Eggs
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of ketchup
  • A pinch of salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Smoked paprika to garnish.

METHOD:

  1. Boil the eggs for 12 minutes until they are hard-boiled.
  2. Crack the shells carefully under running water.
  3. Slice the eggs in half and carefully remove yolks into a medium bowl. Placing the whites in a serving platter.
  4. Mash the yolks using a fork; add the mayonnaise and the rest of the ingredients.
  5. Evenly scoop the yolk mixture into the egg whites and sprinkle with paprika and serve.
