The Nigerian market is great for a lot of things – getting street smart, buying affordable foodstuff, learning the art of a good bargain etc. But, we haven’t heard of a lot of great experiences when it comes to other things like getting your makeup done. So, when one of our Nigerian YouTube faves, Dimma Umeh, posted this video, we knew it would probably only end one way – in tears! lol

Dimma decided to give the Nigerian market makeup artist a go and get her makeup done there. She gets her inspiration, locates a “good” makeup artist and entrusts them with her face. But as you may have already suspected, things went South, very fast.

But the question we want to ask is – have you ever been this “brave” and gotten your makeup done at a market? We understand there is a lot of misconception when it comes to getting makeup done at certain places, but is this a general rule of thumb or is it only applicable in some cases?
