Super model and former Miss World, Agbani Darego was hosted in Port Harcourt last Friday – JULY 11, at the 2nd in the tw brunch series held quarterly, in partnership with WOW Connect Services limited.

At the event sponsored by telecoms giant Etisalat, supported by Vlisco and Access Bank, Ms. Darego spoke candidly of her joy at being hosted in her home of birth even as she recounted her sadness over the much that still remain undone, infrastructure wise, in the state.

For a young woman who has seen much of the world because of the platform created by the Miss World win in 2001, Agbani still believes home is best; hence her focus on the young trendy woman in Nigeria when it came to setting up her fashion business.

Now CEO of the label AD by Agbani Darego, Ms. Darego told the crowd of women that family, a single minded doggedness and hardwork have all contributed to her staying power.

There was a motivational session and a mini fashion show showcasing a major PH label, Revamp; expressing the versatility of the new brand from Vlisco, Voila For You.

All in all, the three hour session left everyone satisfied and looking forward to when next the series will come that way.
