The African Youth Leadership Round table initiative held the 4th edition of The Nigerian Youth Leadership Summit on Monday, May 29th 2017 in Lagos. The vision and mission of the youth organization and NGO is to train young Africans across the continent on the concept of effective, visionary, selfless, and de-tribalized leadership. They hope that this will raise the level of consciousness of the African youth about the workings of the political, electoral, and governance processes in their countries, so they will get involved in how the collective destinies of the citizens of Nigeria are managed.
The esteemed faculty (speakers) for this year’s event included Mr. Ibrahim Mustafa Magu (Acting Chairman Of The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) represented by Mr. Garba Dugum who is the Head of the Lagos Operations of the EFCC, Human rights activist and legal icon Barrister Femi Falana SAN, Sola Salako (Foremost consumer protection advocate and president of CAFON), Mr. Tosan Jemide (CEO cakes by Tosan), Mr. Pius Okigbo (ICT guru), and Jide Ipaye (CEO Keexs Footwear).
