This week, we are introducing you to Orphan Black.
For lovers of Sci-Fi with a little bit of drama, action, humour and thriller thrown in the mix, Orphan Black is the series for you.
This Canadian Netflix show is about an English street-wise woman called Sarah with a troubled past as an orphan that had been bounced around different homes. She and her foster brother, Felix, are eventually moved to North America by a certain Mrs S, and incidentally she is separated from her daughter, Kira.
Despite her bad choices in life, she is determined to make things better for her and her daughter. The twist comes when Sarah witnesses the suicide of a woman called Beth who is the exact replica of her. She decides to steal Beth’s life – boyfriend and finance included – in an attempt to give her and her daughter a new beginning. Things get complicated when she finds out that Beth is her clone who was a cop caught in the middle of a deadly conspiracy.
The series which started in 2013 is now currently on its fifth season and is even better than ever. With a strong leading character like Tatiana Maslany and many more amazing cast members, this fast-paced show will keep you at the edge of your seat forever guessing what will happen next.

I have watched every season of orphan black till date. I absolutely love it even though I’m not a sci-fi lover. I can’t understand why it’s not as popular as most A-list series.
