Monday Motivation: The Law Of Attraction – You Attract What You Believe

There is a school of thought that says you attract what you believe, this theory is simply called The Law of Attraction. This belief is rooted on the idea that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, a person can bring positive or negative experiences into their lives.

It is claimed that when one visualizes clearly in detail what they want to achieve and focuses on that image, they inadvertently set in motion a chain of events that eventually culminates in the materialization of that vision.

Believers of this law generally use positive affirmations and creative visualization with empowered adaptive thoughts to replace limiting of self destructive negative thinking. This combination of positive thoughts and energy is believed to allow one “attract” positive experiences and opportunities.

Even though there is no fundamental or scientific basis for this law, one cannot deny its potency. Author, Charles Haard writes in his book The Master Key System, “One thing will lead to another. Thoughts will lead to actions, actions will develop methods, methods will develop friends and friends will bring about circumstances which will eventually lead to materialization.”
