Straight Outta Naija: Celebrating The Ingenuity Of The Home Craft

outta

It is safe to say that things are changing in Nigeria. Gone are the days when locally made products were regarded with condescension; now, we have quality locally made products that rival foreign made products shoulder to shoulder in quality. And with the high foreign exchange rates, many Nigerians have began to switch from foreign made products to locally grown and made products.

To encourage these entrepreneurs who are blazing a path in local production despite the tight economic climate, tw has introduced a new feature in our magazine called Straight Outta Naija, where we will be highlighting homemade or homegrown products. Not only will we be showing you these products, we will be telling you their full stories: brand story, origin, challenges, future plans and much more.

To read these inspiring stories, you will just have to buy our March/April edition that comes out next week!

But just to give you a teaser, here is a little information about the four brands we will be highlighting this month (there are some promos in there too!) We have an indigenous gift item producer, a scented candle manufacturer, a snail farmer and an ankara inspired lifestyle brand, all Straight Out Of Naija!

Enjoy!
