Take us through your TGIF ritual
When I worked at Google, it included an afternoon movie with my language team members, then food, drinks, and music. Now, it’s time with family. A three year-old is a handful.
Favorite area in Lagos and why?
I live in Lekki and I love it, but I almost moved to Ebute Metta a few months ago. It is central, close to the places I love, and it has a rich and living history. Same with Yaba.

State House, Marina.

A LASTMA guy once entered my car by force because he said I was on the phone when I wasn’t. After about a quarter of a mile, I told him that I was a journalist and I would be taking him to my house instead, he begged to be let out and asked for transport fare back to his colleagues.
